A chat with José Eduardo Rocha
Pereira
“Woman, the guardian of home and family” is the title of
our editorial, which are made considerations around the
article of Altamirando Carneiro titled The Spirit’s
Book, slavery and the rights between man and woman.
Our interviewee of the week is the confrere José Eduardo
Rocha Pereira, vice-president of the Spirit Foundation
Américo Bairral and treasurer of Allan Kardec Home of
the Rest, in Itapira (SP). In the interview he tells us
about his acquaintanceship with Dr. José Carlos Camargo
Ferras, one of the exponents through the victorious path
of Bairral Institutte.
Altamirando Carneiro is
the author of the published especial in this edition,
which title says the entire theme by him analyzed:
The Spirit’s Book, slavery and the rights between man
and woman. It is good to remember that the main
spirit work focused on the article appeared at a time
slavery were still in Brazil and The United States of
America.
On May 27th and 28th Divaldo
Franco spoke to a cozy German city Bad Honnef in a
seminar which has become traditional in that region in
Germany. At around 300 people participated in the event,
how it is said by the confrere Ênio Medeiros.
