Sow Marília
Project´s coordinator speaks
to the magazine
The NGO Sow Marília Project
(Projeto Semear Marília)
emerged in July 2011 with
the purpose of offering
opportunities for personal
growth to children and
adolescents in vulnerable
situations. Breno Ortiz
Tavares Costa, author of
several books and general
coordinator of the project,
tells us about the origin
and activities carried out
by the institution, which
currently serves around 150
children and adolescents
aged 6 to 17. The interview
is one of the highlights of
this edition.
Another highlight is the
special “Spirit
dissemination: are we
fulfilling this task?”, By
our collaborator Anselmo
Ferreira Vasconcelos. In the
article, he quotes a text
written by the confrere
Wellington Balbo on the same
theme, to emphasize the
importance of spreading
Spirit teachings even more
widely, with a view, above
all, to the public that has
not yet known exactly what
Spiritism is.
When it comes to spirit
dissemination, one name that
no one forgets is Léon
Denis, who disincarnated on
a day like today - April 12
- 93 years ago, that is, in
1927. He was born in Foug,
France, Denis went,
alongside by Gabriel Delanne
and Camille Flammarion, one
of the main continuators of
the work initiated by Allan
Kardec and author of
classics like In the
Invisible, After
Death, Christianity
and Spiritism and The
Problem of Being, Destiny
and Pain, among others.
