The researcher and writer
Samuel Nunes Magalhães talks
to the magazine
An active participant in the
Brazilian Spiritist
Federation, where he works
in the areas of Memory and
Social Assistance, the
spiritist scholar and
researcher Samuel Nunes
Magalhães, from Ceará, based
in the Federal Capital, is
our interviewee. In the
interview he talks to us,
among other subjects, about
his historical research
concerning the physiologist
Charles Richet and the
medium Anna Prado. The
article, written by Orson
Peter Carrara, is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Another highlight is the
special “Spiritism has no
end yet”, by Paulo Neto, a
well-known spiritist scholar
and author of numerous works
pertaining to spiritist
doctrine. In the article,
reproducing words from
Spiritism's own coder, he
refutes the ideas of those
who understand that Allan
Kardec's works contain
everything that is relevant
about Spiritism, as if there
was nothing more to be added
to what he wrote.
On Friday, the 12th, the
e-book 20 Lessons on
Mediumship, an English
version of the Portuguese
book´s version, written by
Astolfo Olegário de Oliveira
Filho, was published. The
version was done voluntarily
and gracefully by Eleni
Frangatos, who since March
2013 collaborates as a
translator for this
magazine. The download of
the book, as with all works
by EVOC - Editora Virtual O
Consolador, is free.
