Who are
responsible for the mistakes
of the Brazilian Spiritist
Movement?
The question above is
scanned by our collaborator
Vladimir Alexei, in the
Especial titled “Spiritist
exponents, Roustainguismo
and the witch hunt”, one of
the spots of the current
edition. In the article, he
exempts from this
responsibility the so-called
exponents of Spiritism in
our country. “Evidently -
says the writer - we do not
deify them and we know how
much their works may contain
dubious content at any given
moment, without thereby
invalidating the whole set,
because if there are
uncertainties, they are not
in their pillars, as the
founder of the Spiritism
said when analyzing an
idea.”
Our interviewee today is
Derni Oliveira, from Vitória
da Conquista, where he lives
and participates in the
activities of the Spiritist
Center Ernesto Dantas.
Graduated in Letters, he is
editor-in-chief of the
spiritualist magazine Nosso
Lar, which has a version
in Portuguese, English and
Spanish, and of the
spiritist magazine Deus
Conosco, as well as a
speaker and presenter of the
program “Na Frequência do
Evangelho” on the Web Rádio
Deus Conosco. In the
interview he tells how the
magazine Nosso Lar emerged
and what its proposal was.
Spiritists from Araçatuba
(SP) celebrated last month
an important date: the 100
years of Spiritism in the
city, whose initial
milestone was the founding
of the Peace and Charity
Spiritist Union, which took
place on April 21, 1921,
thanks to the initiative of
its founder, Gedeão
Fernandes de Miranda.
Several events were held to
celebrate the date, as shown
in a special article
published in this edition.
