Perri's work in spiritist
midst
In the year that celebrates
the Centenary of Spiritism
in Araçatuba, countryside of
São Paulo, birthplace of
Antonio Cesar Perri de
Carvalho, the spiritist
trilogy, On the paths of
life. Memories and
Reflections registers
ideas, projects and actions
over the 57 years of the
author's work in the
Spiritist movement,
initially in his hometown
and later in the state of
São Paulo and at the head of
the Brazilian Spiritist
Federation. The report,
written by Sirlei Nogueira,
is one of the highlights of
this edition.
Another highlight is the
interview conducted by
Marinei Ferreira Rezende
with Helton Gudin de Souza
and Mara Lucia Ramos
Portella, creators of the
Banda Änïmä, which has been
promoting Spiritism through
music for 15 years. They
were born in São Paulo,
currently based in Taubaté
(SP), in addition to the
work carried out with the
Band, they are members of
the Spiritist Assistance
Group Os Samaritanos de
Jesus and volunteers in
assistance work in their
city.
“Superior Spirits and Free
Will” is the title of the
Especial written by our
collaborator and well-known
spiritist scholar Paulo da
Silva Neto Sobrinho, author
of several books published
by EVOC and other
publishers. In the article,
he initially asks: “Do the
Superior Spirits always
respect our free will?”, to
then he presents us his
reflections on the proposed
question.
