A beautiful
case that shows the
transforming power of
Spiritism
From Portugal comes the
report of a beautiful
experience that confirms the
transforming power that
Spiritism has. The case is
reported in the interview
that Filipe Miguel Vicente
Pereira, born in Santarém,
now resident in Azambuja,
Lisbon, Portugal, gave us.
Our interviewee is the
founder of Casa com Gospel,
located in his city. The
interview, written by Orson
Peter Carrara, is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Another highlight is the
Special “Reflections on the
Spiritist Social Doctrine”,
written by Cláudio Bueno da
Silva, from Osasco (SP). In
the article, he reminds us
that what Divine Providence
determines through the
mechanism of its laws is,
indeed, beyond human
control, but, insofar as it
depends on human action, we
can and must act in the
construction of the general
welfare of the world in that
we live.
Twenty-five years ago,
writer, poet and cordelist
Merlânio Maia and his wife
Raquel Maia created the
Projeto Cia. Bonecos de Lata,
a work done by the couple
and their daughter Mayara as
an activity of solidarity
and spiritist moral support
offered to hospitalized
patients and their families,
in João Pessoa, capital of
Paraíba. Journalist Carlos
Barros shows us, in a
special article, how the
project came about and its
works.
