Theme: Pre-Judgment
Peter's cake
Peter came home running, with a big smile on his face.
He had saved a piece of cake to eat after school and he
knew that it would be delicious.
But what sadness! When he opened the
oven, the cake wasn't there. Not a crumb, not even the
plate. Peter immediately wanted to cry, but he had an
idea.
- I'll call Dad! He will help me.
He found his father taking care of
the garden.
- Dad! - he called, stepping onto the
grass - My cake disappeared and it was Anna who ate it!
- Hey, son, so much rage! I'm going
to talk to your sister, but first I want to know if
you're sure.
- I didn't see it, but I know it was
her! Anna always takes everything that is mine. If my
cake is gone, she's the one who ate it.
|
- My son, we
must not accuse
without proves.
Imagine the
reverse
situation. Would
you like to be
blamed even
before a
conversation?
Peter was very annoyed. He
wanted to blame his sister for his missing cake.
But deep down,
|
he knew he was wrong. |
- Let's go to the kitchen, son. I
believe your cake is just stored in the wrong place.
Soon the two began looking for the
cake everywhere. They looked in the sink, inside the
drawers and even on the table. But no sign of the
delicious dessert.
Until, they finally found the cake!
It was on the top of the fridge! It was stored in a
closed pot, it was very well disguised.
- There it is, my son, now you can
eat it. Next time something goes missing, try not to
accuse. Remember that Jesus taught that we must not
judge.
