T
wo horses

There is a pasture o
n the road to my house. Two horses live there.

From a distance, they look like any other horses, but when you look closely, you realize that one of them is blind. However, the owner did not get rid of him and found him a friend – a younger horse.

This is already astonishing.

If you watch, you will hear a bell. Looking for where the sound is coming from, you will see that there is a small bell on the neck of the smaller horse. So the blind horse knows where his companion is and goes to him.

Both spend their days eating and at the end of the day the blind horse follows his companion to the stable.

And you notice that the horse with the bell is always looking to see if the other one follows him and sometimes waits, so the other one can catch up. The blind horse is guided by the sound of the bell, confident that the other is leading him to the straight path.

As the owner of these two horses, God doesn't get rid of us just because we're not perfect, or because we have problems or challenges. He takes care of us and makes others come to our aid when we need it. Sometimes we are the blind horse guided by the sound of the bell of those God places in our lives. Other times, we are the leading horse, helping others to find their way.

And so good friends.

You don't need to see them, but they are there.
