The
importance of listening well
so that we can welcome and
help
Ricardo Drummond Marsicano
Ribeiro was born in Juiz de
Fora (MG), currently
residing in João Pessoa (PB),
is our interviewee. A
clinical psychologist, with
a focus on therapeutic care
and psychoeducation in
courses aimed at human
development, he participates
at a distance, thanks to the
facilities provided by the
internet, at the Faith and
Charity Spiritist Center, in
his hometown. In the
interview, he emphasizes the
importance of knowing how to
listen so that we can
effectively help those who
need shelter and support.
The article is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Another highlight is the
Special “Observations on the
cultivation of lies and
their spiritual impact”, by
Anselmo Ferreira Vasconcelos,
from São Paulo (SP). In his
article, he reminds us of an
observation made by André
Luiz (Espirito), who said,
in one of his works, that
there would be little change
in the contemporary world
compared to the times of
Jesus. And an obvious sign
of this perception, says the
columnist, “it is the
fact that the habit of lying
remains deeply rooted in the
human soul”.
Last Wednesday, the calendar
reminded us of the
disincarnation that took
place on March 9, 1984, of
the great medium and
spiritualist scholar Yvonne
do Amaral Pereira.
Victimized by a thrombosis,
the medium disincarnated
during a surgery she had
undergone at Hospital da
Lagoa, in Rio de Janeiro.
She was born on December 24,
1900, in the small village
of Santa Tereza de Valença
(today Rio das Flores),
state of Rio de Janeiro, she
was 83 years old when she
disincarnated.
