About 700 people present at
the 18th Congress of
Spiritism in São Paulo
Promoted by the Union of
Spiritist Societies of the
State of São Paulo, the
Congress was held at the end
of June at the Tauá Resort &
Convention Atibaia, in
Atibaia, in the interior of
São Paulo, and had as its
central theme “Evolution of
being: conscience and free
will”. Speakers were Alberto
Almeida, André Trigueiro,
Heloisa Pires, Haroldo
Dutra, Humberto Schubert,
Emanuel Cristiano and
Rossandro Klinjey, who gave
the opening speech.
Our interviewee today is
retired teacher Marli Neide
Ciríaco, from Botucatu (SP).
Born in Sorocaba, another
city in São Paulo, she has
participated since 1982 in
the Path of Light Spiritist
Center, in Botucatu, in
which she is responsible for
the Department of Children
and Youth Evangelization,
one of the subjects
discussed in the interview
she kindly granted us.
“Happiness is not yet of
this world” is the title and
theme of this week's
Special, written by our
collaborator Gebaldo José de
Sousa, from Goiânia. In the
article, the author refers
to the law of progress,
which encompasses beings and
worlds, a topic that
interests all of us who
inhabit the Earth. But he
warns: “The transformation
process will be long”.
