Collective
scourges and personal
scourges in the light of
Spiritism
A doctrinal analysis of the
scourges that affect the
human creature, either
collectively or
individually, is the subject
of the article entitled
“Don't go down!”, authored
by our collaborator Andres
Gustavo Arruda, from Caxias
do Sul (RS). What purpose
does the Creator have in
reaching humanity through
so-called destructive
scourges? This and many
other relevant issues to the
topic make up the Special,
one of the highlights of
this edition.
Another highlight is the
interview given to us by
Professor Ailton Santos
Caetano, from Ribeira do
Pombal (BA). With a degree
and bachelor's degree in
Physical Education, with a
Full Degree in Pedagogy and
a postgraduate degree in
Higher Education Teaching
and in Sociology and
Philosophy, our interviewee
is the current president of
the Joanna de Ângelis
Spiritist Society and a
member of the Spiritist
Union of Ribeira do Pombal.
This week marked another
anniversary of the launch –
which took place on August
1, 1865 – of the book Heaven
and Hell or Divine
Justice according to
Spiritism, by Allan
Kardec. Published a year
after the book The Gospel
According to Spiritism,
it is the fourth book of the
so-called Kardequian
Pentateuch, whose main
objective is to explain how
divine justice is and how it
works.
