Chico Xavier returns to
cinema screens again
On October 13, the feature
film Chico Forever (Chico
para Sempre) will
premiere, a documentary
directed by Wagner de Assis,
with the participation of
journalist Marcel Souto
Maior, author of one of the
most complete biographies
ever written about the late
medium. Chico Xavier
disincarnated in 2002, the
same week that Brazil won
the Football World Cup for
the 5th time, Chico Xavier
is one of those people who
indelibly marked his passage
through the world, as shown
in the documentary.
Journalist Altamirando
Carneiro, one of the writers
of this magazine, is our
interviewee of the week. He
was born in Coração de Maria
(BA), lives in São Paulo,
the capital of São Paulo
State, for many years, where
he graduated as a journalist
through the Social
Communication course. The
interview, authored by our
collaborator Marcel Bataglia
Gonçalves, is one of the
highlights of this edition.
Another highlight is the
special USE, its 75 years
and its importance,
authored by Orson Peter
Carrara, a member of the
editorial team and Editorial
Board of this journal. In
the article, he highlights
the efforts that many have
undertaken to consolidate
the spiritist unification
movement, among them
Leopoldo Machado and Bezerra
de Menezes stand out.
