The author of
the book New Cases of
Jerônimo Mendonça speaks
to the magazine
Our interviewee today is
Nicola José Frattari Neto, a
doctor in education and
sociologist, who is part of
the team of workers at the
Spiritist Center Seareiros
de Jesus, in Ituiutaba (MG),
where he lives. As a result
of his acquaintanceship for
a few years with the late
brother Jerônimo Mendonça,
he recently wrote and
published the book New
Cases of Jerônimo Mendonça,
Publisher House O Clarim,
one of the subjects of the
interview that he kindly
granted us.
“Gandhi and the animal
companions” is the title of
the Special – one of the
highlights of the week – by
our collaborator Cláudio
Bueno da Silva, who at the
beginning of his article
reproduces, for our
reflection, what Gandhi said
about the use of the meat in
our diet: “I feel that
spiritual progress requires,
at a certain stage, that we
stop killing our fellow
animals, the animals, for
the satisfaction of our
bodily desires”.
At the beginning of this
week, another birthday of
Manoel Philomeno de Miranda,
born in the city of Conde,
Bahia, was celebrated on
November 14, 1876. Spiritual
author of important works
psychographed by the medium
Divaldo Franco, Manoel
Philomeno de Miranda thanks
to them, he became known
throughout the country and
abroad, as shown in a
special article written by
Ana Moraes.
