In
communication, the focus
should always be on the
contents
This is the thought of
Mayara Paz Costa, from São
Carlos, today residing in
Brasília (DF), where she is
the Communication
coordinator at FEB Cinema
and a volunteer at the
Department of Social
Assistance at FEB (Brazilian
Spiritist Federation). In an
interview with our
collaborator Orson Peter
Carrara, she tells us, among
other things, about
spiritist communication and
what we can expect in
relation to new productions
for cinema with a spiritist
theme.
In this edition's Special,
Rogério Coelho makes
considerations about the
philosophical aspect of
Spiritism and its
usefulness. Philosophizing,
he says, is not a purely
intellectual exercise,
because discovering the
truth is having the courage
to face the stagnant forms
of power that try to
maintain the “status quo”,
which allows us to
understand why Allan Kardec
chose Philosophy to be one
of the three main vertices
of Spiritism.
The greatest promoter of
Spiritism in the world,
Divaldo Franco, despite
being 95 years old and
strong physical limitations,
has been again in Portugal,
where he gave a conference
in Lisbon on the 29th of
November and gave a workshop
on the 1st of December in
the city of Olhão, as José
Lucas shows in a special
article published in this
issue.
