How can you
recognize the true spiritist
according to Kardec?
The answer to this question
is well known by spiritists
in general and can be seen
in chap. XVII of the work The
Gospel according to
Spiritism, in which the
codifier of the spiritist
doctrine stated: “A true
spiritist is recognized by
his moral transformation and
by the efforts he employs to
tame his evil inclinations”.
The subject, with all its
implications, is examined by
the writer Eurípedes Kühl in
a special text that makes up
the highlights of this
edition.
Another highlight is the
interview given to us by
Waldir Silva, from Minas
Gerais, born in Belo
Horizonte (MG), where he
lives. An electrician at
CEMIG, he participates in
the Spiritist Center Manoel
Maria da Silva – Cantinho de
Jesus, where he coordinates
mediumistic education and
disobsession meetings, a
task in which he acquired
extensive experience in
assisting spirits in
difficulty, especially
former suicides. In the
interview he tells us about
it.
The XXVI EJEN - Spiritist
Youth Meeting of the
Inter-Regional North took
place during Carnival in
Londrina, an event that is
part of the program of
regional meetings of
spiritist youth in Paraná.
Forty-seven young people
between the ages of 12 and
21 participated in the
meeting, as shown in the
report by our editorial
colleague Marcel Bataglia
Gonçalves.
