Spiritists living
in Spiritism and the latter
living in them, only with an
inner change
The thought above, inspired
by a phrase by Wallace Leal
V. Rodrigues, said in the
preface to the work Spiritist
Travel in 1862 (Viagem
Espírita em 1862), by
Allan Kardec, is part of the
interesting interview given
to us by Andres Gustavo
Arruda, from Caxias do Sul
(RS), city where he works in
two institutions: the
Spiritist Center Alunos do
Bem and the Spiritist Center
Roteiro de Luz, in which he
participates in numerous
activities. The focus of the
interview is the spiritist
task, in the context of
spiritist institutions and
their workers.
“The Promised Comforter” is
the theme of the special
written by our partner José
Passini, who is part of the
Editorial Board of the
magazine O
Consolador.
In the article, which is one
of the highlights of this
issue, he transcribes the
passages from the Gospel of
John in which Jesus alludes
to the Consoler that the
Father would send to the
world in his name and makes
considerations about the
characteristics of the
Spirit of Truth and the
purposes of his presence in
our midst.
Last Friday, May 5th,
Divaldo Franco celebrated 96
years of a fruitful
existence, whose
achievements in countless
and different sectors
spiritists in Brazil and
abroad do not ignore, but
which is always good to
remember as a stimulus for
all of us who we admire him
so much. Recording the
important event, Leonardo
Marmo Moreira wrote a
beautiful text entitled
“Divaldo, 96 years old!”,
which is worth reading.
