of the VI Spirit Cultural
Journey promoted by the
Spirit Association
Terceirense, situated in
Ilha Terceira (Third
Island), one of the nine
islands in Azores
archipelago in Portugal.
There were many speakers and
enrolled people from the
continent besides local
inhabitants and the
president of the Portuguese
Spirit Federation, Vítor
Mora Féria who were there
especially for the journey.
In the opening, the
president of the Spirit
Association, Pedro Silva,
welcome the audience then
the president of the City
Hall spoke in the event, as
well as the president of the
Portuguese Spirit
Federation. The confrere
José Luca, who took in the
Journey and spoke in the
event’s closure, tells us
how it happened the
traditional and important
event.
Gil Arquimedes Cones, who
was born in Piracicaba (SP)
and lives is Santa Bárbara
d’Oeste (SP), is our
interviewee of the day. He
is an insurance broker with
degree in psychology and
law, who participates in the
activities of the Spirit
Centre Emmanuel and who is
the current president of the
Child’s Home, an institution
that was founded by spirits
and direct by them. The work
which is developed at
Child’s Home is the main
theme of the interview.
This edition is published
the last final part of the
Especial titled “Redemptions
from Spiritism History in
France”, authored by the
spirit scholar Antonio Cesar
Perri de Carvalho, former
president of the Brazilian
Spirit Federation and member
of the International Spirit
Executive Boarder
Commission. The article was
split in two parts. The
today’s published part has
the focus on the appearance
of the French Spirit Union.
