Recalling the
remarkable figure of
Jerônimo Mendonça
Our interviewee today is
Professor Nicola José
Frattari Neto, from the town
of Ituiutaba in Minas Gerais,
where he lived as a
teenager, for years in a
row, with Jerônimo Mendonça
and was able to accompany
several services provided by
the late confrere, which
resulted in a new book about
that unforgettable character
in the history of Spiritism
in Brazil. Published by Casa
Editora O Clarim, the book
is entitled "New Cases of
Jerônimo Mendonça", which is
one of the themes of the
interview he gave us.
“The challenge of
simplicity” is the title of
the Special that illustrates
this edition. In the
article, Cláudio Bueno da
Silva exposes his thought
that living content with
what you have is a healthy
exercise of balance and a
demonstration that the
individual is close to
serenity. In the final part
of the text, the writer says
that simplicity "creates a
wise way of looking and
doing differently, it gives
a gain to life of those who
want to be more and better,
without judging themselves
more and better than anyone
else".
Another highlight of this
edition is a special article
on the topic of suicide
prevention, authored by
journalist Giovana Campos,
who heard about the
important subject from
nephrologist Ana Catarina
Tavares Loureiro,
coordinator of the Suicide
Prevention Group Yvonne
Pereira, located in Vitória
(ES).

The e-book “As cinco” (The
five) was published on July
30 by EVOC - Editora Virtual
O Consolador, authored by
pedagogue Leda Maria
Flaborea, also a Spirit
speaker and scholar of
Spirit concepts. The book,
of profound delicacy,
presents the story of five
great friends who live their
individual trajectories
naturally, and the many
years of friendly
coexistence, sometimes close
in some years, sometimes
distant in others. The
download of the e-book is
free; for that, just
