The
importance of educating
children for a better world
Cátia Lopes Ribeiro, from
São Paulo, now based in São
Bernardo do Campo, in the
ABC region of São Paulo, is
our interviewee. Graduated
in Letters, with a
specialization in Children's
Literature, she works in the
area of children's
evangelization at the João
Ramalho Fraternity Group.
About this activity, she
reminds us of the importance
of educating children so
that we can have a better
world. The interview is one
of the highlights of this
edition.
Another highlight is the
Special by our collaborator
Martha Capelotto, entitled
“The Spiritist Doctrine as
an educator of the Spirit”.
In the article, she makes
valuable considerations
about the content of the
introduction that the late
and well-known writer José
Herculano Pires wrote and it
is part of the special
commemorative edition of the
centenary of "Spirit´s
Book", published by LAKE on
April 18, 1957.
On a day like today – May
22nd – Arthur Conan Doyle,
physician, writer and
creator of the character
Sherlock Holmes, whose
adventures are read with
interest to this day, was
born in the year 1859 in
Edinburgh (Scotland). A
Spiritist since the age of
28, he was a great promoter
of Spiritism and author of
the works “History of
Spiritism” and “New
Revelation”, as stated by
Thiago Bernardes in an
article published in this
issue.
