On a day like today –
February 19th –
it died in 1822 Joana
Angélica de Jesus, who was
born in Salvador (BA), on
December 12th,
1761. Religious of the Order
of the Conception of Maria,
Joana died defending the
Convent of the Lapa in
Salvador against Portuguese
soldiers.
According to Divaldo Franco,
Joana in her first
appearance, which occurred
on 12/05/1945, presented
herself with the epithet “a
friend Spirit”, that for
many years it was a
pseudonym used by her,
before using what spirits
know very well: Joanna de
Ângelis, author of many
spirit works psychographic
by Divaldo.
As many sources, she would
be in the past Joana de Cusa,
one of the women who
followed Jesus in the
crucifixion moment; Santa
Clara de Assis who lived in
the XIII century, follower
of São Francisco de Assis
and founder of Clarissas
Order, and on top of it,
Juana Inés de La Cruz,
religious pseudonym of the
Mexica poet Juana de Asbaje,
who lived in the XVII
century.
