On 18th April 2007, this
magazine was born and then
it turns two years old of
existence this week. Having
passed this time, we can say
that the goals have been
accomplished as they were
imagined and the feedback
obtained from either inside
and outside Brazil has
overcome all expectations,
as the reader can see in
this edition editorial,
entitled “Two years later”.
Former president of the
Spiritist Federation of Rio
Grande do Sul state, with
half a century of services
provided in benefit of the
Spiritist cause, Nilton
Stamm de Andrade tells his
trajectory in the Spiritist
Movement and makes relevant
considerations about the
role of the Spiritist Center
in today’s world, during the
interview conceded to the
editor Antonio Augusto
Nascimento, which is one the
headlines in this edition.
One of the most critical
problems of our Spiritual
evolution consists in
changing our inside. “Such a
change, proposed by the
Spiritism as our big moral
fight, is doubtless
indispensable so that we can
really educate”, says Maria
Eny Rossetini Paiva from
Lins (SP) in the special
article “Interior
transformation and moral
perfection”, another
headline this week.
Two years after being
founded, the magazine “O
Consolador” has already
reached 83 countries across
all the continents of the
globe, fact that evidences
the importance of its
creation in a globalized
world, having the Internet
as the fastest and economic
mean by which people can get
the information they really
want, as shown in the
special report in this
edition.
