It has been 70 years since
the first Spiritist Weeks
have appeared in Brazil.
Differently from the current
format, they used to be much
more fraternal as shows this
week’s editorial, entitled
70 years of Spiritist
Weeks.
Interviewed by the
journalist Katia Fabiana
Fernandes, the confrere
Konrad Jerzak Vel Dobosz,
director of the Polish
Society of Spiritist Studies
(Polskie
Towarzystwo Studiów
Spirytystycznych), from
Warsaw, talks about various
subjects related to the
Spiritist Doctrine and tells
us how the Spiritist
Movement was born and has
been developed in Poland,
his homeland.
According to the Polish
confrere, by explaining
clearly where we have come
from, who we are and where
we are going, Spiritism is
the answer to the questions
that the humankind has been
making for centuries. The
interview is one of the
headlines in this edition.
Jesus’s divinity is the
theme of the special report
written by the confrere José
Carlos Monteiro de Moura,
from Belo Horizonte (MG), in
which he affirms that there
is nothing within the
narratives of the four
evangelists authorizing or
justifying the idea that
Jesus is God.
The special is another
headline this week.
The 18th Spiritist Week of
Londrina has been finished
last Sunday July 19th,
in which the central theme
was “Spiritual Evolution:
Challenges of the 3rd
Millenium”, as the report by
Fernanda Borges shows,
constituting also a headline
in this number.
