One of the questions posed
to the medium Francisco
Cândido Xavier during the
famous TV Tupi program Pinga
Fogo was this: Why the
Spiritism doesn't act in the
human politics in order to
help the less favoured? This
is the theme of this week's
editorial, entitled "The
vaccine against the penury
is work”.
One of the highlights of the
week is the interview
conceded by our confrere
Ilisia Garcia Ramires, from
João Pessoa, Paraiba’s
capital, to our editor and
publisher Orson Peter
Carrara. Along the
interview, the confrere
explains about his
experience in the
implementation of the
Systematic Study of
Spiritism (INCE) and the
resulting benefits from this
program implementation.
Another highlight of this
edition is the analysis made
by our confrere Jose Sola,
from Sao Paulo (SP), about
the book The Spirit of Chico
Xavier, written by the
medium Carlos A. Baccelli,
in which the author insists
that Chico Xavier is the
reincarnation of Allan
Kardec, the Spiritism
encoder.
The city of Oslo, Noruega’s
capital, chaired a seminar
about Spiritist
evangelization of children
and the youth, which
happened on the 13th March
and was organised by the
groups GEEAK-Norge and Leon
Denis, which are based in
the same city. The full
article is part and one of
the highlights of this
edition.

In 1945– 21st of March – our
confrere Frederick Augustus
Gomes da Silva has passed
away. He was one of the
founders of the Spiritist
Federation of Rio Grande do
Sul. The entity’s founding
was preceded by extensive
discussion of its Statute,
which happened as from
October 1920, under the
coordination of a committee
chaired by our confrere,
whose death is remembered on
today’s date.
