Logotherapy
is a psycological
theory-practice system created
by the Viennese psychiatrist
Viktor Frankl, which became
famous worldwide because of
the book “In Search of Meaning
“(A Psychologist in a
concentration camp), in which
Frankl explained about his
experiences in the Nazi
prisons and launched his line
of thought. This is the
subject of this week’s
editorial, entitled
Logotherapy is a step in the
connection between science and
religion
One of the highlights of the
week is the interview conceded
by our confrere Gilmar de
Oliveira Cândido, from Minas
Gerais state, to our colleague
Orson Peter Carrara. Gilmar
speaks about the foundation of
the first spiritist centre,
Fraternidade Espírita Emmanuel
(Emmanuel Spiritist Fraternity)
in the small city of “Tiros”,
which is located in the
country side of Minas Gerais
State.
Another highlight of this
edition is the special from
Leda Maria Flaborea, from São
Paulo (SP), in which she
examines the theme automatism
and perispirit or spiritual
body, which is, according to
the spiritist doctrine, what
models our physical body. The
article will be published in
two parts: the conclusion will
be presented in the next
edition.
During the 3rd Brazilian
Spiritist Congress, one of the
highlights was the press
conference conceded to
journalists by the confreres
Nestor Masotti, president of
FEB, Divaldo Franco and Raul
Teixeira, as shown in the
article by Gabriela Abreu,
which is also one of the
highlights of this edition.
