The Spiritist Week of
Londrina is the highlight of
the week
The leaders of the Spiritist
Centre “Nosso Lar” (Our Home
or The Astral City) have
initiated the spiritist week
of Londrina over 18 years
ago and over
the years it has became the
most important achievement
of the spiritist movement in
the north of Parana. This is
the the topic of this week’s
editorial entitled The
Spiritist Week of Londrina
and its purpose.
One of the highlights of the
week is the interview
conceded by our confrere
Pedro Francisco dos Santos
Neto, a doctor who lives in
Petrolina (PE), to our
colleague Orson Peter
Carrara. Our confrere talks
about his activities in
disseminating the spiritist
doctrine in the northeast of
Brazil,
especially in the cities
located on the border
between the states of
Pernambuco and Bahia.
Another highlight is the
special from Leonardo Marmo
Moreira, who analyzes the
speculations on
reincarnation in the Spirit
Movement, specifically the
hypothesis that Chico Xavier
and Allan Kardec would be
the reincarnation of the
same Spirit, an idea
defended by a small number
of confreres who lives in
Brazil.
The spiritist centre “Nosso
Lar” from Londrina will
start as from the 20th of
July the methodical study of
the Gospel of John, the 37th
book studied by the “Abel
Gomes Spiritist Study
Group”, which started its
studies in February 2000, as
per the report which is one
of the highlights of this
edition.
