Gimenez,
as shown in
a special
report
that
integrates
this
edition
and is
also
one
of the
highlights
of the
week.

- was born
in the
village
Ayerbe,
Huesca
province,
in
northern of Spain,
in 1860,
Angel
Aguarod, who
became
interested in
Spiritualism
in 1880
and became
one
of its
greatest
promoters
in Spain,
Argentina and
in Brazil,
where he
settled in
1915
in Porto
Alegre.
In this capital city,
he served
in various societies
and
collaborated
in the
magazine
"Eternity,"
which he
later
became the
director
until it
last
publication.
The
magazine
began an
intense
campaign
for the
union of
the
spiritists of
Rio Grande,
a campaign
that was
successful
with the
foundation
on 17
February
1921,
the
Spiritist
Federation
of Rio
Grande do
Sul,
whose
destinies
were
presided until
1927.
