threat to life, comments
on the proposal made to the
Brazilian National Congress
by a committee of jurists
charged with reform of the
Penal Code, in which the
legitimacy of abortion is
clearly suggested clear, in
flagrant disregard to the
Constitution of Brazil.
One of the highlights of
this edition is an interview
given to our collaborator
Guaraci de Lima Silveira by
the medium Chico Monteiro,
who talks about his work in
the field of spiritual
healing based in the mining
town of Rio Novo.
Chico Monteiro resides in
the city of Rio de Janeiro
where he also provides other
holistic treatments. He is a
herbalist who works with
Florals, Aromatherapy, Color
Acupuncture, Relaxation,
NLP, Development of
Activities and Goals and is
a member of the Italian
Federation of Psychotherapy.
Another highlight of this
issue is the special article
by Rogério Coelho titled "What
is the use of the
philosophical aspects of
Spiritism?". In his
article, whose conclusion
will be published in the
next issue of this magazine,
the well-known colleague
examines the usefulness of
the philosophical aspects of
Spiritism.

spoke on June 28th
at Teatro Positivo in
Curitiba, as shown in the
special report authored by
our colleague Paulo Salerno
which is also one of the
highlights of this issue.

Spiristist Week of Londrina,
which starts next Saturday,
July 14th is a
traditional event that will
have as its central theme "
Love each other, and learn."
The Week will be held from
July 14th to 21st
at the Nosso Lar Spiritist
Center. The event program
