A
worthy tribute to the
colleague José Raul Teixeira
It’s been just over a year
that the colleague José Raul
Teixeira suffered a stroke.
The fact is remembered by
our collaborator Alessandro
Viana Vieira de Paula, from
Itapetininga-SP, in a
special article that is a
worthy and timely tribute to
our dear companion. The text
is one of the highlights of
this edition.
This week’s editorial, “How
those who call themselves
Christians should act”,
comments on the lack of
commitment to the cause of
the Gospel by a significant
number of people in our
country who call themselves
Christians.
Another highlight of this
issue is an interview given
to our collaborator Antonio
Augusto Nascimento by the
young colleague Richard
Ricardo Suarez Rodriguez,
president of the Spiritist
Municipal Union of Ijuí-RS.
In the interview, the
colleague from Rio Grande do
Sul, talks about his
initiation into Spiritim and
the current state of the
local spiritist movement.
Took place on December 1st
and 2nd in the
premises of INESUL in
Londrina, the 1st
Meeting Lins de Vasconcelos,
important event promoted by
URE of Metropolitan Londrina,
with support from the
Spiritist Federation of
Paraná, as shown in the
special report included in
this issue and one of its
highlights.

In a day like yesterday -
December 8th - in
1904, a spiritist family
group was founded that gave
rise to the Spiritist Center
Regeneration, which, on
March 7, 1915, later came to
be called Spiritist
Federation of Pernambuco,
responsible for
coordinating the Spiritist
movement in the State of
Pernambuco.
