Enrique Baldovino comments
the 30 works by Kardec
One of the highlights of
this week is the special
article titled "Complete
Works of Allan Kardec ,"
authored by our colleague
Enrique Eliseo Baldovino ,
based in Foz do Iguaçu-PR .
In his article, the
colleague presents important
details related to the 30
works that form the legacy
of the Encoder of Spiritism.
Another highlight of this
issue is the interview given
to our collaborator Guaraci
de Lima Silveira, by the
colleague
Angélica da Costa Maia,
from Lavras-MG. Spiritist
from birth, Angélica says,
in the interview, that it is
useless to fight just for
the improvement of
institutions, because these
do not exist without the
minds that constitute them.
The 11th FEICULTE -
Spiritist Cultural Fair 2013
was held this past Sunday,
October 6, at the Spiritist
Center Gabriel Ferreira, in
São Paulo-SP, as shown in
the report by Martha Rios
Guimarães, also one of the
highlights of this edition.
This week’s editorial, "You
have to prepare man for the
work, Kardec tells us, "
reminds us that improving
the world we live in occurs
- without need of any
prodigy – through the
improvement of the beings
that inhabit it.

On Wednesday, October 9,
spiritists from around the
world remembered the sad
event that occurred on the
same date in 1861, in the
city of Barcelona, where, by
order of the Catholic Church
through one of its bishops,
many books sent to a Spanish
bookseller by Kardec were
burned. The so-called
“public act of faith of
Barcelona” was reported and
commented by the Encoder in
the November 1861 edition of
the Spiritist Magazine.
