César
Moron, from the Chico Xavier
Association, speaks to the
magazine
"When silence does not
help" is the title of
this week's editorial, which
comments the dismal news on
the growth of suicide cases
in the city of Londrina,
where the highest incidence
occurs among young people
20-29 years old.
One of the highlights of
this edition is the
interview given to us by the
colleague César Moron,
retired banker and resident
of Bauru-SP. In the
interview, Moron talks to us
about the nine years of the
Chico Xavier Association, an
institution over which he
presided whose sole purpose
is the dissemination of the
Spiritist teachings.
Another highlight is the
special article titled "Kardec
did not anticipate Darwin",
authored by our collaborator
Paulo Neto, from Belo
Horizonte-MG, in which the
writer examines the thesis,
mistaken in his view, that
Allan Kardec anticipated the
ideas of Darwin regarding
evolution.
Last Thursday, September 25th,
José Herculano Pires whould
have completed 100 years, a
date celebrated by the
Spiritist community with
full justice. See why in the
speciatl article written by
Angélica Reis, which also is
one of the highlights of
this edition.

In the week ending today,
besides the birth
anniversary of José
Herculano Pires, spiritists
also celebrate the birthdays
of Cairbar Schutel, who was
born on September 22nd,
1868, and Cosme Mariño,
surnamed the "Argentine
Kardec", who was born in
Buenos Aires on September 27th,
1847.
