Luiz Carlos Costa, from the
city of Garça (SP), talks to
our magazine
"When science can become an
useless and dangerous tool" is
the subject of our
editorial, which comments on
the article "Taming
Aggressive Instincts", one
of the highlights of this
issue.
Our interviewee today is
Luiz Carlos Costa, director
of CEFEAC – the Spiritist
Center of Faith, Hope Love
and Charity, in the city of
Garca (SP), one of the four
Spiritist Centers in
activity in his city. The
interview, by Orson Peter
Carrara, is one of the
highlights of this edition
too.
"Taming Aggressive
Instincts", by our
collaborator Rogerio Coelho,
from Muriae (MG), is the
title and subject of the
Special Article of the week.
In this article, Rogerio
tells us that as the ego
becomes aware of the values
embedded in the Self, a
healthy programming for
behavior becomes feasible.
The subject is also one of
the highlights of this
edition.
It was in a month of April
that Amalia Domingo Soler
returned to the Spiritual
Homeland. She was one of the
greatest Spiritist figures
in this world and
responsible, among other
works, for the publication
of one of the classics of
Spiritism: Memoirs
of Father Germano, a
psychographic work dictated
to her at a Spiritist Center
in Spain in the late 19th
century and produced by the
famous writer.

On a day like today, April
30, Professor Rivail
received the first
revelation as to the mission
he would carry out. It was
the year 1856 and Allan
Kardec was not yet known,
which occurred the following
year, on April 18, 1857,
with the publication of The
Book of Spirits, which the
professor decided to sign
with the pseudonym we all
know: Allan Kardec. This is
mentioned in the book
Posthumous Works and
occurred at Mr. Roustan's,
and Miss Japhet was the
psychic.
