Once upon a time
there was a
caterpillar
called Pilly who
lived in a
beautiful and
flourished
garden. She
loved to walk
around in the
plants and eat
green leaves.
One day during
her daily walk,
she found an ant
that hurt its
leg. Pilly
treated her leg
and helped her
return to the
anthill. The ant
was extremely
grateful with
the caterpillar.
Some days later,
Pilly went
around for
another walk.
She
walked,
walked and
walked but when
|
she
decided
to go
back
home,
she
couldn’t:
she got
lost.
|
|
|
Pilly left the
garden without
noticing and now
didn’t know what
to do! To make
matters even
worse,
she fall
on the
floor
|
 |
from a
slipping
stone
and
wasn’t
able to
get up.
Pilly
stayed
hours in
the same
position,
with her
legs on
the air,
in the
heat
without
food or
water.
She
began to
feel
week and
sick, as
she was
unable
to walk. |
The place was
dry. There were
only stones and
sand around.
No one showed up
to rescue her.
The hours were
passing by and
she worried even
more. It’s been
one day now
since her fall
on the ground,
but now she
heard something…
Pilly decided to
scream for help.
— Help! Help!...
The ant
approached the
place where she
was hearing
someone shouting
and saw the
caterpillar:
— Pilly! What
happened?
The caterpillar
recognized the
ant she helped
one day, and
said:
— Oh, my dear
ant! It was God
who sent you! I
have been here
for hours and no
one came to
rescue me.
The ant wanted
to help, but she
knew how tinny
she was. She
then had an
idea! The ant
decided to go
back to her
anthill and call
her sisters.
They brought a
green leave for
Pilly to eat and
water to drink.
After that, the
ants looked
after Pilly’s
wounds.
When the
caterpillar felt
a bit better,
they decided to
take her home
with them.
Pilly said:
— I don’t even
know how to
thank you all
for your help!
You have been so
good to me
— You don’t need
to thank us,
Pilly.
I have just done
my part, and
reattributed to
the good you
have done me
once.
From this day
onwards, they
became good
friends.
This also
happens in our
lives. All
goodness we do
will revert to
our own benefit.
Each of us will
harvest what we
planted
previously.
That’s why Jesus
wisely thought
us we should do
to others as we
would have them
do to us.
