The cloud called Cirrus

Once upon a time, there was a cloud called Cirrus.

She enjoyed playing with her other friends clouds.

One day, Cirrus decided to go out on her own. She flew for a long time...

The little cloud passed by a farm where the

animals looked so thin because they had nothing to eat. A cow saw the little cloud passing by and asked:

— Oh, dear cloud, can you please help us? Can you please spare some rain?

Cirrus tried, but wasn’t able to provide them with rain. She felt said and decided to go away.

She then found another spot where the plants were quite dry. They said:

— My dear friend cloud, could you please spare some rain? We are quite thirsty.

Cirrus then said:

— I will try my best!

She tried, and tried.... but nothing.... She wasn’t able to let a single drop come down...

She then found a river which was quite dry. It then asked her:

— Oh, dear cloud! I am so dry the plants are dying, the animals are feeling quite thirsty but I can’t offer any water to them. The fish are also dying because of lack of water. Can you please help me?

Cirrus felt even more sad. She wanted to help others so much, but how? She was so small!

She thought for a long time.... and then made a decision:

— I know what I am going to do! I am going to ask for help!

She walked around... and found other clouds. She explained the situation to them, who then said:

— We can’t do it! We rely on the wind.

Cirrus decided to talk to the wind and see if he wanted to help.

He said he wanted to, but could not do much on his own.

— Why is that? — Cirrus asked.

— I rely on God to give me strength.

Cirrus then praied to God and asked for help.

The wind was suddenly feeling stronger and heavier. The clouds were then flying with the wind. They got heavier and heavier until they reached the region were there was lack of water.

The rain started to fall from the sky. It was a massive party!

The plants, the fish and the river were full of joy. They all thanked God for the help — rain is a blessing from the sky!

We are all small, just as the cloud Cirrus but with everyone’s help and God’s blessing we can achieve many things.

If we all help each other, we will be happier and make others around us happier. Jesus will also be happy with us since He wishes us to love one another.
