How the evolution of the planets happens

At this time that it says so much about transforming the globe into a world of regeneration, it is interesting to remember how it processes the evolution of worlds, because there is who understands - even in our midst - the progress of a planet like Earth depends on so-only the desire of the Creator.

Well, the evolution of a planet - in intellectual field or moral grounds - is a direct consequence of the individual progress of those who inhabit it. If it's God's will, it is clear that the Earth would be in a much stronger evolutionary stage.

Furthermore it is worth to remember that the so called individual progress does not consist just in the development of intelligence or in the acquisition of certain knowledge. This is but one part of the progress that it does not necessarily lead to good, since they see learned men make bad use of their knowledge.

The progress of a person consists fundamentally in his/her moral improvement, in the clearance of his/her Spirit, to uproot the evil nature that it exists. And this is the progress able to ensure the happiness of mankind, for it is, in essence, the very negation of evil. The man most advanced in intelligence can do much harm; one that is morally advanced only does the good. That is why there is interest for all the moral progress of mankind.

The acts of corruption and embezzlement of public funds, which have been reported and verified in our country over the past 20 years, were not and are not committed by illiterates. In fact, many of them are people who attended higher education and not a few who have reached their projection in a professional area.

It is therefore essential that the knowledge and technique combine to the effort of moralization of the individual and his/her habits; it is not difficult to understand that faith in the future life, taught by Spiritism, can contribute effectively for this to happen.

In fact, it’s convinced that there is a future for us all and that our life is not confined to the cramped moment we live in, the circle of ideas necessarily widens and spiritual progress is replaced by a goal, an effective usefulness, born there, in a natural way, the feeling of solidarity and fraternity.

Mindful of the above, it is not difficult to understand that our attitudes and our behavior in many different moments in life are important - even essential - in the evolution of the planet we live on, this evolution that is naturally slow because it is also slow maturation of spirits.
