The theme desire is
focused
on by André Luís
Bordini
This week’s editorial, "A
good man respects the
sincere convictions in
others" presents the
idea that discrediting the
belief or faith of others,
however absurd it may be,
does not help anyone.
André Luís Bordini, from
Ribeirão Preto-SP, is our
interviewee this week. Born
into a spiritist family and
belonging to the Allan
Kardec Spiritist Society,
Bordini is director of study
meetings and board member,
and former president of the
same institution. A
well-liked speaker in his
region, he explores the
subject desire in his
interview from the point of
view of psychology. Given to
our collaborator Orson Peter
Carrara, the interview is
one of the highlights of
this edition.
Another highlight of this
issue is the conclusion of
the special article "Science
in Kardec," by Professor
Nubor Orlando Facure, from
Campinas-SP, in which the
well-known colleague
conducts a historical review
of the moment lived by
Kardec when encoding
Spiritism and refers to his
contribution to the sciences
of his time.
Suely Caldas Schubert, from
Juiz de Fora -MG, held a
series of conferences and
seminars in Rio Grande do
Sul, which started in the
town of Viamão on October 25th,
as shown in the article
written by Paulo Salerno,
which is also one of the
highlights of this edition.
