Let’s take a look at the starry heavens from time to time. I usually do this comforting exercise which always give me back the correct notion, much of the absolute splendour of the Creation, as well as of its mysteries, still almost as if completely unfathomable by the intellect of the reincarnated man. About these mysteries, there is also a wiser and right perception of what God is - the Supreme Intelligence - which made everything inside and outside of us, always and forever, if so it is allowed to us to express in that way, in such still imperfect way, a verbal conceptualisation short of what the Supreme Creator of the Universe is!

We are too small to understand and define, with mere effort of reasoning, who conceived and performed the whole immensity of existence in which we are consciously immersed. I do not hold this claim. However, it is known, according to what is stated in Spiritism, regarding knowing the causes by analysing its effects. And so, if we stop to think lucidly in the truth of this assertion, we will understand, by direct perception, that the Presence of God is immanent - and never, in any way, is found distanced from us, in any step that may be!

God is daily interaction

I notice in today's turbulent contexts on earth, mankind too steeped in lethargic behavioural conditioning, like what happens to us when we are staring at the TV!  Accommodated comfortably on our couches at night, on weekends or during rest after our daily activities, we become abstracted mentally from the concerns and from every day’s electrifying drive to observe what others do or interpret!

Be in documentaries or movies, soap operas or series, newspapers or entertainment programming; we only watch, impassively, the intense movement of others: journalists, actors, reporters, scientists around the world - directors! We dedicate, imperceptibly, hours and hours of our time delegating to others the incomparable taste of lifetime achievement! From co-creation of the advances of the immense network in the world! And during the duration of this pause time, in many cases too long at most elaborate reasoning; exchanged some comments, have fun or become distracted. But I feel that we, without even realizing, cause this kind of attitude to become extended further in this technological age of machines and attractive computer, to the dangerous point of hypnosis! And this expands, too, in the most unfortunate, to the territory of our personal achievements and our evolutionary advancement. To the dynamics of our perception and interaction with the magic of the wonderful Divine reality - right before, within and around us! Because in this habit of delegating too much power to others for the construction of facts of our times, we forget of much that is up to us to carry out, making use of our talents, capacity and sensitivity!

We only watch and watch! When not, we practice our share of committed citizenship in our various daily work for the maintenance of our and our family’s livelihoods! And we are satisfied with it! But life is much more than the struggle for material sustenance! We forget that the gift of life, of finding ourselves present here and now, with perhaps unsuspected talents, not exploited which enables us and invites us to perform far beyond, for the world, of our fellow men, and ourselves!

Life is a process! It is activity, creativity, it is interactivity! And, although some argue that scientific advances of humanity cannot be draconian and definitely labelled as harmful, since the way of the times we live in, they allow an unquestionable improvement of this same interactivity that is so necessary to a globalised orb. However - and it can be said regarding to almost everything – there is the inconvenient backdrop of which the facilities of this same technology also produce such as lethargy and vital inertia.

Nevertheless, thousands of people become accustomed to not to do, fulfil, carry out - but to watch to be done! And they are satisfied in a very inconvenient way, with this attitude, that dulls and paralyses, and that adds nothing to them, in a context of immense and indefinite waste of opportunities of improvement for themselves and the world itself, and of the chances of their own achievement!

Direct to God...

Long ago, a reader, who I noticed to be feeling disgusted with the directions he had already scrolled extensively in search of the higher truths of life in various religions, wrote to me asking, more or less in these words: for what reason should always be an intermediary between his dialogue with God, once the history of our routes in any way was confined to only one earthly life. Towards the past, or present, or future, we will always be! In the evolutionary field , within the dynamics of eternity, therefore, we are compelled to engage with the surrounding facts and with our own dilemmas, in search for solution of them that, and in any way, is hidden only a stage in the dialectic of a stage in the materiality!

We look to the heavens, and we find! There is much, much more beyond than this beautiful blue planet hovering in the orchestration of the infinite, and, above all, beyond us, as we perceive ourselves in this current minute of eternity! So - the reader questioned - for what reason do we refrain, or become conditioned to put ourselves under a mandatory dependency for intermediaries between us and this majestic dynamics of Life?!For whatever reason does a bank account, a priest, a mediator said "to be accredited" between the own dignity of participants of the storylines of Creation, and even our Creator? The Author of the history, of which we are all actors and co-creators?

Why, dear reader, do we keep ourselves sitting in front of the huge existential TV, only seeing, watching the performance of the other participants who perform, dare, create situations or opportunities, or, in other cases, interpret beautiful and inspiring stories like a fairy tale as only artistic performance is able to execute and to  enchant us, offering us encouragement and comfort for handling electrifying day to day?But on our part, for what reason do we not transcend this role of mere spectators? Don’t we nor experience nor create other situations of interaction with Life, with God, going in search of answers and chances of a more wise and right understanding and action within the storylines intertwined in this great mystery?!

Objective Perception of God

We might not be able anymore at this point in human history, to understand successfully the theorical explanations of Theology or the countless doctrines that exist in the institutionalized religions. My nature has never been as such to cause me to have anything in common with elaborated terminologies which go on about the holy Trinity, or about so called Christian rituals, in its authorised version to the profane world.

It seems to me that this kind of theorical and verbal net is exactly in need of a breath of Life, in which we will eventually find factual conscience of everything, and model conferring us certainty and assurance through the simplest practice! And therefore, within our daily routine, and on turning ourselves to the simplicity of appreciation of very own works of God, we will obtain through direct perception, something that is not comparable in quality, nor in terms of understanding of the most consoling and changing revelation within the reach of our conscience; that allows us the opening of successive portals of spiritual evolutionary advancement - ultimately, our inexorable fate, what most concerns us: God is not far from us!

As with everything around, with our friends, loves and affections, who are united to us by a strong tuning, an impregnable instant language of love, of mutual interest, through the similarities of purpose, connected in this intense energy network that interweaves all components of the immeasurable orchestration of Life, is God - the immanent Cause of all logic and maintaining substance of the dramas experienced by our consciences! God is Origin, Effect, in everything, and of everything - solid and noticeably Present, wherever we turn our steps, attention, questions, thoughts, intentions and actions!

It is so obvious and straightforward that - I'm afraid to say – through the extreme intimacy with Him we enjoy every moment of our days, we consider the illusion that perhaps God does not exist! That God is absent, or, paradoxically, that God is found too far from the mundane realities of our day, in order to be known, or for us to establish a direct dialogue with Him! Just as our sense of smell when too exposed to the routine fragrance of a relative, which at some point we no longer distinguishes until, in a given moment, we ask for the reason he/she does no longer wears the habitual perfume! The extreme obviousness of His Presence, exposed to our consciousness that are immersed in His Reality as the fish in the vast ocean, suggests to us, then the illusion of silence to our supplications, questions, and our attempts at dialogue! And with that, we do not realize the simplest, the clearest, the most glaring: the evidence of His Presence is found massively around us! For, after all, where everything comes in its first cause from?! And thus, through everything, everyone, and endless opportunities, God speaks to us with unbroken constancy - directly and without intermediaries!

On how many occasions we cannot observe this beautiful reality, if we got rid of intellectual and rational complications of the limiting materiality, to understand the higher truth of the subtler optical of this same perception, both external and internal?

Rescue of simplicity

There was once, in the early days, a purer, simpler, more authentic version of early Christianity, - Catharism ⁽¹⁾, which was the main target of the most horrendous and authentic genocide massacre carried out by the fierce dogmatism of the Catholic Church, thirsty for merely temporal power, in the late Middle Ages. Catharism was devoid of rituals, of pompous or incomprehensible preaching to the common man, of dogma or prejudice, and it was more suitable to a perception of the reality of God among us! Its followers - men and women - were active and participants of a doctrine lived in a practice more common to daily routine! They carried out healing accomplishments through laying on of hands, as with passes ⁽²⁾ currently practiced by mediums in the strongholds of spiritist training and understanding. And they spoke directly to God, dispensing with middlemen!

They knew that the great existential truth of humanity was a gradual evolution towards progressive levels of illumination of consciousness, through their reincarnations. And they saw Jesus, more accurately, as a spirit of sublime spiritual scale, far above the common humanity, and therefore, as the unequal spiritual and human leader, as there have not been, up to today, an equal one in the storylines of all peoples of Earth - not as a Single Son of God!

They voluntarily stripped themselves off the slavery of materialistic achievements of the secular world, which is unhealthy for the spirit; and dedicated themselves to, to live according to a practical recognition of the spiritual priorities of their existence, that to all of us always most matters, to the construction of a gift that redeems a past, in a wise construction of a better future.

They did not become lost for being so caught up in hierarchies struggles for power and dominance which were rooted, as it still happens today, in disputes over possession of egotistical unwary souls, under various religions practice based on the dogmatic imposition of intermediaries between men granted  between so called common men  and God!

God is a constant friend...

Dear reader: as we simply reincarnate incessantly moving between dimensions and worlds, making contact and intimacy with countless beings, within the extensions of the universe, let’s we keep in mind that in this immeasurable vital process, the gradual understanding of everything happen to us on the border between the spiritual intuitive insight and the more direct of the concrete facts while we are in the material plane, or in definite continuity of all, after our passing to other stages which are richer of living experiences in other sectors of the infinite. And let us not forget that this wise, sovereign mixture, everything and everyone is more definitive proof that God is close, very close - in fact, too close, to talk, to answer all the questions, all the dilemmas and questions of route, with simple language - however, perhaps so simple that it escapes from us due to the vices exaggerated development of reasoning which is conditioning of the greatly restricted and insufficient material parameters!!

God, being in us and outside of us, in a inextricable Whole, speaks to us through what magnetize constantly with our own intentions and attitudes of each minute. So God does nothing more than reveal himself through His unfailing mercy, giving us unrivalled wealth of its external expression to our sensory perception, which is still sleepy and lethargic - and to the spirit who is always immersed in nature in his sublime and definitive midst, the consoling Truth from which,  as we do to our own children, His answers to us will always be the best that we need to advance in the right way towards the happiness that everyone is doomed to! But also counting on our active participation in the immense drama of Creation!
