Cláudio Marins, president
of
ABRARTE,
assesses
Spiritist art
This week’s editorial, "Loneliness
, isolation and technology"
focuses on the importance of
new technologies in the life
of human beings and their
use in the present moment of
life in our world.
Cláudio Marins, president of
ABRARTE - Brazilian
Association of Spiritist
Artists, is our interviewee
this week . Based in Belo
Horizonte-MG, he works at
the White Rose Spiritist
Fraternity, and directed the
Social-Spiritist
Communication Department of
the Spiritist Union of Minas
Gerais between 2008 and
2011. The theme of his
interview, which is one of
the highlights of this
edition, is Spiritist art.
Another highlight of this
issue is the special article
titled "Is there life
beyond Earth?" authored
by Ricardo Baesso de
Oliveira, from Juiz de Fora-MG.
As our contributor and
columnist recalls, the
existence of organic life in
other worlds in the
universe is one of the basic
postulates of the Spiritist
Doctrine.
Concurrently with the
Movement: You and Peace,
held in late 2013 in
Salvador -BA, the caravans
attending the event
participated, between the
scheduled activities, in
meetings of doctrinal
studies with Suely Caldas
Schubert. Read about them in
the article by Paulo Salerno
, which is also one of the
highlights of this edition.
