Seven years of O Consolador (The Comforter)
Every week since the day of April 18, 2007, when this journal published its first issue on the internet, it is posted a new edition of O Consolador (The Comforter) which usually consists of 30 subjects, in which only two - Letters and Editorial – do not present authorship identification.
On the face of it, the names of columnists, writers, interviewers and translators have become quite familiar to the reader and there is, of course, a healthy curiosity to know them personally, which is very difficult because although part of the same work group, people are rooted in different units of the federation and even abroad.
Needless to emphasize, as we have said earlier in this same space, the magazine existence and its continuity projects that created it are due to the good will of all of them, providing to this journal, voluntary and independent manner of any charge, their valuable collaboration.
So with the inspiration of the Spiritual Benefactors, in the invisible face of life, and the concourse of such special people, we’ve got to 7 years of uninterrupted activity, a fact that is being achieved exactly on this date.
However, it occurs that for the assembly and maintenance of a site, and the consequent placement in our weekly issues, it carries out another work of immeasurable importance, which without it the project would be only as a project, never materialized itself.
For the reader to have a relevance idea of similar work, remember how many sites it has been searched a day on the internet, and to our disappointment, we were acquainted that they were unavailable or there still remain, but abandoned as a ghost town, where the last record occurred two or three years ago.
It is, as it can be seen, an anonymous work, which appears in nowhere, although without it, nor would the site or the magazine exist.
Due to this, on the day that the magazine O Consolador (The Comforter) celebrates 7 years, we would like to dedicate this text as a recognition work that it is anonymous done to our colleague and cofounder – José Carlos Munhoz Pinto – to who we express our sincere grateful and our worthy applause in the name of all team.
