Arthur Bernardes, another fellow who left this world
Nearly 48 hours after being taken to an induced coma after a surgery he underwent on July 10th, it passed away last Sunday, the 12th, in Juiz de Fora (MG), our companion Arthur Bernardes de Oliveira, 36 days after Maria José Bergamo death, who as him, she was part of the team that makes this magazine continues in its dissemination taks of the spirit teachings.
Born in July 1931, Arthur Bernardes would be 84 in a few days.
Writer and member of the Editorial Board of The Comforter, which served since April 2007, when the magazine circulated for the first time, his participation in this journal resulted in an important book - "Reflections in the light of the Comforter" - published by EVOC - The Virtual Publisher of The Comforter on March 27th this year.
The preface he wrote, it contained in the mentioned work, it is extracted this passage:
"What you will read below are memories that I let them set for when I am no longer here, my children, grandchildren and friends can remember the father, grandfather, friend, traveling with him in the ways he traveled, gathering friends and witnessing events that cannot be forgotten by people.
There are in these pages memories and longing of people from whom I learned a lot and important facts in the study of psychic phenomenology.
There were not written for the purpose of becoming a day, in a book.
It was only my modest contribution to the electronic journal The Comforter, whose foundation we had the good fortune to participate and which is now present on every continent on the planet, given the eagerness to learn from Brazilians who sought work outside, but remain with the heart increasingly linked to their homeland.
I will be very thankful to God and life if these pages can take a bit of entertainment to who is willing to read them."
On behalf of the leadership and editorial team of our magazine, we send our greetings and our embrace to the children, daughters-in-law, grandchildren of our dear friend and, especially to Elizabeth, the dear companion who he devoted an unforgettable book - "A star in the shape of a flower" - which EVOC has also published, a book that will allow us to remember, whenever we wish, important vicissitudes of the life of an exceptional creature.
As we have always said and written, no one dies. What dies is the physical body, not the soul, for that being immortal, it will live forever.
Arthur Bernardes de Oliveira just changed address and - can all be sure - he is meeting again with people he loves and who, like us, they also love him very much.
