Aggression and slander denote patient in critical condition

It is said that when a fellow spirit visited the premises of major psychiatric hospital, was suddenly surprised by an inmate who, for no reason, struck him with a punch. The director of the institution witnessed the assault and confirmed that the fellow did not react.

Outside the hospital, someone asked him why he not reacted to the aggression. His response was symptomatic: "Well, I was attacked by a sick person, and there is no reason to fight back the aggression of a sick person."

It’s true, the fellow acted properly and was still more accurate his answer, because only sick people that slander, attack, and offend another person without reason. Some of them are not hospitalized but living right beside us, and sometimes, breathe the same air we breathe.

Do not retaliate, do not respond, and do not reciprocate offense with offense that is the attitude taught by the Gospel and by the spiritual teachers, like Emmanuel, who dedicated to the theme and a lesson that comes by the way.

The message of Emmanuel says:

"Imbalance that is noted, it is the appeal of life about cooperation.

When the waters in a pile invest furious about the range of soil that serves as housing, lifts the dock capable of ruling its impulses.

Before the fire that threatens you, go after, ready, to fire extinguishers.

Whenever short circuit occurs in the electrical network, turns off the power outlet so that the energy does not operate uncontrolled destruction.

Also, when the test visits you, do not transfigure the language into whip from the similar.

If verbal beat assaults your ears, stand the wall of duty faithfully performed, in which you defend against the assault of the injury.

If slander catches you, be in peace in the refuge of prayer.

If the offended dignity, inside you, is transformed into a lit fuse for the outbreak of revolt, let the silence mutes you, until the cloud of the crisis will leave your sight.

Especially in front of any partner angry, do not aggravate his imbalance.

No one cures a madman, by beating his skull.

If someone throws in your face the blow of intemperance of the spirit or if he/she throws you the stone of the insult, apologize unreservedly, and back to hurt you, it is essential you recognize in the presence of a patient in critical condition, asking you for support of understanding and aid of compassion." This text is dedicated to the esteemed confrere Divaldo Franco, who has been again the victim of aggression and slander by people who claim to be spirits, and yet are unable to respect a man who last month completed 85 years of age, of which 65 are devoted to the cause of Spiritism and the needy children and families on the outskirts of Salvador, Bahia.
